Quotes, estimates and bookings

Prices, estimates and availability shown online are indicative until confirmed in writing by our team. Final pricing depends on an assessment of your specific needs. Bookings are confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us.

Cancellations

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any applicable cancellation terms will be explained when your booking is confirmed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

This website is not medical advice

Everything on this website, including the growth and milestone guides, the fever and dosing reference, the school forms information, the referral guidance and the health library, is general information for the public. It is not medical advice, it is not tailored to any individual child, and it does not create a physician-patient relationship between you and Little Sprouts Pediatrics.

Always speak to a qualified health professional who has examined your child before acting on anything you read here. Never delay seeking care or disregard advice you have been given in person because of something you read on this site.

Emergencies

If this is a medical emergency, call 911. Do not use this website, the appointment request form, the patient portal or email to report an emergency, because none of them are monitored continuously.

Dosing information

The weight-based dosing reference on this site reproduces widely published guidance for two over-the-counter medicines. It is a reference, not a prescription, and it does not account for your child's weight, age, kidney or liver function, other medicines, or medical history.

Do not give any medicine to a baby under three months without speaking to a clinician. Always check the concentration printed on the bottle in your hand, use the dosing device that came with it, and confirm the dose with our nurse line or your pharmacist if you are unsure.

Appointment requests

Submitting the appointment request form on this site is a request, not a confirmed booking. A member of our team contacts you to confirm the clinic, clinician and time. Nothing is booked until you receive that confirmation.

This is a demonstration website. The form does not transmit information to a clinic and no appointment will be made.

Telehealth

Telehealth visits are offered only to patients physically located in Iowa at the time of the visit, because our clinicians are licensed in Iowa. Some problems cannot be assessed safely by video, and we may convert a telehealth visit to an in-person visit at no additional charge if that is what your child needs.
