The appointments
The four visit types that make up most of childhood.
Newborn and first-year care
A weight check within 48 hours of discharge, then the whole first year mapped out: feeding, jaundice, sleep and the visits that catch problems early.

Phones open at 7:30am and we hold sick slots at all three clinics every day, including Saturday mornings at Ingersoll.

The complete ACIP childhood and adolescent schedule on site, including catch-up schedules, Vaccines for Children, and honest conversations about spacing.

Iowa school entry certificates, IHSAA and IGHSAU sports forms, camp paperwork and medication authorizations, all handled at one visit.

Growing up
The longer conversations: lungs, behaviour, feeding and the years in between.
Asthma and allergy care
Spirometry in clinic, written asthma action plans that school nurses accept, epinephrine training for the whole family, and food allergy management.

Behavior, ADHD and development
Structured ADHD evaluation with Vanderbilt scales, autism screening with M-CHAT-R/F, and referral into Iowa early intervention when it is warranted.

Feeding and lactation support
An IBCLC in the building four days a week, weighted feeds, latch clinics, bottle refusal, reflux and the introduction of solids.

Most parents do not know whether a problem is a sick visit, a nurse call or an emergency. That is what the triage line is for.
